Bottom line: BSI-certified, sovereign security solutions are becoming a necessity rather than an optional feature for critical infrastructure operators due to tightened compliance requirements.
HarfangLab will present the results of a “State of Cybersecurity” report at a free webinar on August 23, which is based on data from German CISOs and SOC experts and examines the importance of sovereign security solutions for compliance with KRITIS requirements.
The webinar will take place live on August 23 at 11 a.m. and is aimed at security managers in organizations with KRITIS relevance. The report is based on surveys and experience reports from CISOs and Security Operations Center teams from Germany and will be presented for the first time at this event.
Two key topics are in focus: First, the requirements of the KRITIS Ordinance and their consequences for the selection of security tools – in particular the growing need to deploy BSI-certified solutions and to ensure data sovereignty. Second, the analysis examines how the German and European regulatory environment affects the selection of endpoint security platforms.
The speakers are Marius Holmer, Regional Sales Director DACH at HarfangLab, and Jürgen Bauer, Solution Engineer at HarfangLab. Bauer played a key role in the BSI certification process and guided the HarfangLab platform through BSI certification by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) as well as ANSSI-CSPN certification in France. Holmer led the market launch of HarfangLab in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and focuses on critical infrastructure and regulated industries.
Participation is free of charge. The webinar is primarily aimed at CISOs and security managers who need to adapt their tool landscape to tightened compliance requirements.
