Former US Managers Plead Guilty to Tech-Support Fraud

Bottom line: Former CEO Adam Young and former Chief Security Officer Harrison Gevirtz of C.A. Cloud Attribution Ltd. pleaded guilty to supporting fraudsters. They provided criminals with phone numbers, call recording and forwarding services, enabling them to perpetrate scams worth millions of dollars. Sentencing is scheduled for June 2025.

Two former executives of a call-tracking company have pleaded guilty to concealing a years-long tech-support fraud scheme. They helped fraudsters deceive millions of people worldwide — using fake malware warnings, impersonations of Microsoft and Apple, and unauthorized access to bank accounts.
