KPMG Integrates Claude in Global Alliance with Anthropic

The gist: KPMG launches global alliance with Anthropic and integrates Claude company-wide for all 276,000 employees. Claude will be embedded in the Digital Gateway platform and enables faster development of AI tools for tax, legal, and cybersecurity.

KPMG, one of the world’s largest consulting firms, announces a strategic global alliance with Anthropic. Claude will now be integrated into KPMG’s core business processes and the work of all 276,000 employees worldwide.

The international consulting firm KPMG announces a comprehensive partnership with Anthropic to place the Claude AI model at the center of its business operations. The company, which operates in 138 countries and territories, will integrate Claude into Digital Gateway — the central software platform that KPMG employees and clients use for their daily work. The initiative will start with new tools for tax and legal advisory clients.

A core component of this alliance is making Claude available company-wide to all 276,000 KPMG employees. The company is building on two years of internal experience in the United States, including its AI and Data Labs. Anthropic also names KPMG as its preferred partner for private equity, and both companies will jointly develop new Claude-powered products for PE portfolio companies.

A special focus is on the cybersecurity domain. KPMG and Anthropic will collaborate to use Claude to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in critical systems — work guided by KPMG’s Trusted AI Framework.

The integration of Claude into Digital Gateway enables KPMG professionals and their clients to develop new AI capabilities directly in the platform. This replaces previous cumbersome processes that required switching between different tools and multiple weeks of development time. For example, AI agents to support tax clients with regulatory changes can now be created significantly faster.
