Claude Code v0.2.44

Claude now features an advanced thinking mode specifically designed for complex planning and structured problem-solving tasks, as announced by Anthropic. Users can now trigger different analysis levels by entering the commands “think,” “think harder,” or “Ultrathink.” The feature targets an important enterprise use case: for complex tasks such as architecture decisions, compliance mapping, or vulnerability assessment, organizations need transparent and comprehensible reasoning processes. The stepwise thinking modes make it possible to adapt computation time and analytical depth according to the complexity of the problem. Practical relevance for decision-makers in DACH:Technology: Transparent evaluation of technical trade-offs – Compliance: Verifiable reasoning chains for meeting audit obligations – Operations: Resource optimization through demand-driven inference depth. The solution is based on the core principle of explainability, particularly for regulated industries. It enables organizations to integrate AI-assisted planning into their governance structures while avoiding opaque, black-box systems.
