Anthropic Launches New Enterprise AI Company with Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs

The bottom line: Anthropic is founding a new AI services company with prominent financial partners to help mid-market enterprises integrate Claude into core operations and benefit from advanced AI solutions.

Anthropic, Blackstone, Hellman & Friedman, and Goldman Sachs have jointly established a new AI services company. The company will work with mid-market enterprises across various industries to integrate Claude into their core business operations.

Anthropic’s applied AI engineers will collaborate with the company’s engineering team to identify areas where Claude can deliver the greatest value. They will develop customized solutions and provide ongoing customer support. In addition to the founding partners, the venture is backed by leading alternative asset managers including General Atlantic, Leonard Green, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital.

Enterprises such as community banks, mid-market manufacturers, and regional health systems could benefit from AI but lack the necessary internal expertise and infrastructure for advanced, state-of-the-art implementations. “Enterprise demand for Claude is growing faster than any single delivery model can handle,” said Krishna Rao, Chief Financial Officer of Anthropic. Collaboration with leading systems integrators is fundamental to bringing Claude to large enterprises.
